Meet The Puppie's Parents

In 2003, we personally hand carried the original dams and sires on the plane with us to their new home here in the Smokies. They were carefully hand chosen with the helpful advice of my mother and aunt who have been raising and breeding this breed for over twenty years in the Wexford County region of Ireland.

They have champion bloodlines and their pedigrees have no known recent history of cardiac or patellar conditions. In 2008, we were excited to introduce our handsome American Champion Sired dog "Carter" to our breeding program. We are proud that he recently earned the title "International Champion". More recently, we also adopted a gorgeous blenheim dog "Miles" who has an extensive champion pedigree and is presently doing very well in the show ring. They have become wonderful additions to our family.

All of our breeding stock have documented veterinary clearances for heart, eye and patellar, including certificates from the OFA (Orthopaedic Foundation For Animals) and CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation). Each one has also been x-rayed and cleared free of hip dysplasia. Our stud dogs have also been tested via DNA for Episodic Falling and Dry Eye/Curly Coat Syndrome. They are genetically clear of these diseases and can only pass on the normal gene to their offspring. Any puppy sired by them will never be affected from these diseases. We are also working on having several generations free of genetic defects.

We offer a full two year genetic health guarantee with all our puppies with no requirement to return your beloved pet.

Although no pedigree is 100% clear of genetic problems, it is of primary importance that as responsible breeders, we do all that we can to minimize genetic defects. With this goal in mind I have successfully completed and received a certificate for the course "Canine Reproduction for Breeders - Veterinary Assistant II".

Our goal is to breed healthy sound puppies with wonderful temperaments while at the same time striving for beauty according to the breed's standard. Our reward is that the puppies are received into loving homes.
